BREEAM Excellent for Our Project

The first building of the new logistics and consignment centre at Panattoni Park Bratislava North II, which we delivered as the general contractor, has been awarded the prestigious BREEAM Excellent environmental certification – one of the world’s most recognised standards for assessing building sustainability. This certification confirms that the facility meets strict environmental criteria in areas such as energy efficiency, indoor environmental quality, water management, waste handling, transport, and innovation.

The building incorporates 62 roof skylights, which provide ample natural daylight and reduce energy consumption. The white façade helps to maintain lower indoor temperatures by up to seven degrees during the summer months, while the combination of light surfaces and greenery improves the microclimate and reduces the perceived temperature compared to the original environment.

Within the site, we have created a retention basin and irrigation system to manage rainwater efficiently. We have also supported biodiversity by establishing areas for wildlife, as well as bird and bat boxes and insect hotels. The project also includes recreational and sports areas and new greenery.

Achieving the BREEAM certification represents confirmation of our long-term commitment to combining high-quality construction with sustainability and a responsible approach to nature. The project developer is Panattoni, and the investor is Accolade Group.
