Construction as a blockbuster film

On April 8, the traditional student event Míchačka 2026 took place at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava in Ostrava, Czech Republic. This year’s edition, subtitled Stars of the Builders’ Screen, presented construction disciplines and specialisations in a playful way, this time with a film theme.

There were sketches, models and competition disciplines in which students showed ideas, teamwork and the ability to handle different situations. That is exactly what makes events like this valuable. They present construction in an accessible way while also showing what this field really involves.
