HSF System SK built a new Hornbach store in Trnava

The general contractor for the large Hornbach retail center in Trnava was HSF System SK. Customers have been able to visit it since April this year. The project investor, with a value of EUR 17.1 million excluding VAT, was Hornbach Immobilien SK-BW.

HSF System SK, part of the international construction group HSF System, delivered the complete construction of the site, including underground parking, technologies, and infrastructure. “Such a large-scale project requires perfect coordination of both construction and technological components. It was important for us that the entire facility would operate smoothly from the very opening and provide customers with a truly comfortable and practical environment,” says Tomáš Mydlo, Production Director of HSF System SK.

HSF System SK carried out the general delivery from June 2025 to April 2026. The retail center, with a total sales area of 17,600 m², includes a main store, an outdoor garden center, and an extensive 5,500 m² Drive-In zone. The construction is complemented by underground parking for 88 vehicles, paved areas and roads, and water management structures.

The new Hornbach was built in a retail and industrial zone near the Trnava bypass and offers customers a comfortable environment and a wide range of products. The new store also incorporates modern technologies and energy efficiency measures, such as LED lighting and a heat recovery system.
